Thread: Fish Tanks

I tried that but there have been so many little problems with backpacks I gave up.

For the longest time I had a vendor called "All things fish" where I sold fish, fish meat, fishing poles, sunguards, fishtank parts, stachels, bait, and shellfish harvesters. I had a Ishi Tib with a sunguard,a novice scout outfit, and a fishing pole. His eyes poked through the sunguard, it was great. It was my most fun vendor.

I also took a lot of chests and labled them "Fishtank". Sold as a kit, I never got that many questions. Sold individually, I'd get the occasional "That's just a renamed chest! That's not a fishtank!" mails.

Your post has almost inspired me to put him back up....

Have you seen the tanks that I'm referring to? I basically used two couches as the base and top, then used 4 pikes as the frame, dropped some plants in the bottom, dropped two puffer fish (only dang thing I could catch..lol), and to top it off, I put a candle just out of site under the top couch. It gives it a cool glow. I tried to find chests as they work a lot better than couches, but to no avail. It would be cool to have all of these items in one pouch.

6 chests (three for top, three for bottom)

4 pikes

three plants (I used the ones with the flowers on them)

2 fish

1bestine candle

Of course, I've seen much morecomplex versions, but this is a good generic model. Put that fisherman back up! Cheers!

I recommend the use of the wood-looking end tables for the base (named Base), metal staffs for the glass (Tempered Glass), and the half-moon wooden chests for the top (Hood). Throw in a few plants and fish and you've got yourself a party!

I may try the idea of setting one up and then selling them as packages - although most people I've encountered would prefer to pay me extra to actually build the thing myself.

Idea for all you interior decorators. Offer a wearable container with all the necessary ingredients to make one of those cool fish tanks. It took me two days to find all the stuff I needed and it still isn't like I originally wanted it. I think it would fetch a nice price as most of the stuff to find is a pain.

Just a thought.
