Hi All. The "Intrepid Architects Ring" had its second meeting tonight. One of the big topics was the purchasing of resources. We would like to get as many "miners" as possible to attend our next meeting so we can have an open forum on pricing. The inivitation is also open to all architects to attend this meeting. We are getting some pages setup to list all of the members in the ring for a referral system. We will also publish our pricing "guide". (Note: We do not "fix prices" no architect will ever be frowned upon for having lower or higher prices from the guide, we will never "blacklist" anyone).

This is not a PA, or is itin any way affliated with an existing PA. The ring makes no enforcable rules it exists only to serve its members and the architect profession in general on the Intrepid server. "Guidelines" can be introduced by any member. For instance an existing guideline is that ew never "shun" any architect for not following the pricing guide, we respect the marketplace.

The price guidleine falls roughly in the 7-10 creds per resource for a deed. We have set a multiplier to gradually increase prices per week to ease the impact of prices on players. For Instance we have a target of 250k for a Hvy Mineral harvester. The current multiplier, which we didnt change from last weeks, is .6, so 250000 * .6 = 150000 the current reccommended price of a hvy mineral harvester.

We still have yet to see the impact upon the architects in the ring or from customers since it has only been around for a week. There are appx 30-40 architects total in the ring who attended last weeks or this weeks meeting.

We are hoping to have a large meeting in a couple of weeks open to all players on Intrepid to introduce intrepid players to the ring and how they can find an architect through the ring and the members list on the upcoming website.

We hope to facilitate the upcoming introduction of Player cities through the ring through the participation of all of the finest architects on Intrepid.

Interesting method. Our collection of like minded people simply calaculated the cost to mine or buy minerals and the number of mineral in each and everything we can make. So you say Small house 3388 minerals then figure a base line you wont go below such as 4c/u. And a goal say 5c/u.
