Thread: Houses only able to store less than a back pack?
Today I was making all kinds of components for many armor sets and PSG's
I try to set down a bag of components and I get the message that the friggen house it full.
So I go to the Terminal to check how many I have
...
...
.....
Yep 29 Items in a Medium House and its full.
Is this a bug with Back Packs ? I (and many many many others) Use back packs for Organization, which I might add could be solved easily by allowing the ARchitect Items like
Armoire
ToolChest etc.
to store items
And you could even make the storage dependant on experimentation
Another thought is a warehouse segement option for Masters, added inventory room to all houses with this ....
Is Sony really that naive to put such low limits on houses ?
I need roughly 50-75 different types of resources and segments/panels and components to be an armorsmith.
Just logged off in frustration, I dont even have furniture in my house and its full already. And I should buy a Large so I can store maybe 70 items ?
/rant off
its not like I can put crates back in the output hopper of the factory.
Wonder how much a Binary Load lifter can carry.
If a droid can't fix my problem or they dont allow you to put crates back in the factory (ever)
I must continue to lobby for a new warehouse type building!! I would be willing to Part with a Harvester to be able to pack rat all the supplies I need. Thus freeing up space for some furniture so I can stop sleeping on my dirty basement floor.
and have crates count so heavily against the item cap is retarded (at least in a House, come on you all have seen the room there is in a Medium right?), you know how many things are required from crates in my profession?
Oh how I wish I hadn't taken crates out of the Hopper ....
Do you have a vendor up? Currently, everything in the vendor counts towards whats in the house. I havent verified this personally, but it was listed as a bug here somewhere. What kills me is the fact that to store anything I have to either give it to a friend to store or build a house, which of course I cant afford lot-wise with a factory and harvesters chasing the ore around the planets.
You could also try putting the crates in the factory input hopper if you have room there. (of course I would test this out, god only knows that the factory would eat them or something) Other than that, all I can suggest is keeping extra stuff in the bank till they work out the bugs.
Solution to your crate problem: Don't take crates out of the factory until you need them. I have scads of various components sitting in my factory waiting to be used.
Yeah, the .005 fps in cities, the constant crashes, disappearing items, apartment bugs. Oh wait, those weren't fun at all.
so where exactly am I supposed to keep all these things....
I can offer three suggestions:
1) Place a vendor, put your stuff up for sale, and then withdraw the sale (or set an outrageous price for it). Withdrawn items get placed in the vendor's Stockroom, and you can retrieve them at your convenience (well, mostly
).
Items on vendors do not count as 'dropped' items for a house.
2) Don't forget your bank. You can store 60 (100?) items in your bank.
3) Factory input hopper?
I think you are incorrect. From everyone else I have heard that items on a vendor do count against the 250 in your house.
