Thread: Failed on 2 PA halls tonight
What are the odds of this even being possible????
I don't even mind a failure, but 2 in one night is to much. I failed on 2 walls and then on the PA hall both times. I do not make that much profit to take that kind of hit.
If there is suppose to be a huge failure rate 30% or something then they should let us know.
I am fine with failure but the odds of having 2 in a row, should be almost impossible.
I think they love architects though because when you dont fail you get lots of money. Combat classes down get jack squat in money except for the exploits ![]()

omg you architects make some much cash and your whining about this???!?!?!
LOL
We make "some much cash" off of non-crafters who refuse to pay us bare-bones prices for the resources we poured into their items? Or how about the mad money we make competing with crash-and-burn architects selling houses for less than weapons. Somebody wanted me to sell them a small house for 1000cr today, but all I could tell them is "get a job." Pleasantly.
Have you spent a week harvesting for a single big project? How about assembling the 120 components for a single item, fingers crossed that a crit failure doesn't compound your loss ten times over? Combat characters don't get messages saying "your raid was a critical failure," they get paid or they die. In this virtual world however, death is cheap, insurance cheaper than any house. Time is a resource that can't be restored.
No wait, please don't go... I still want to know how I can make "some much cash."
Just for the topic's sake, yes the crit fail rate is ridiculous and yes it should probably be tapered down on whole structures.
Happily just built his medium-sized home, -Pogo
It seems to have increased since the "patch that didn't quite make it in and they had to repatch" day, Monday?. Up until then I had a great streak going only failing on about 1 in 10 of any combine at all. Since then I have failed on 3 out of 4 med houses and 5 out of 8 small houses. I know it isn't my ore, unless they changed the ores between the 2 days and maybe that is what is causing it (same ore veins I have been pulling from for over a week). I have basically lost money back to ground zero since I only do a little business. I don't go advertise much except on the board for Scylla here. I don't sit in town spamming that I am selling houses. I am just taking my time, harvesting selling to those that come to me and ask since I keep the Arch tag on, running a few combat missions to get cash on the days that I don't sell anything. Losing that much in 2 days has wiped out my stocks and now I am basically on hold until I can rebuild everything again. I can deal with losing the resources from a small house or 2, it hurts but it is recoverable without too much trouble. But losing 20k for the small + 60k for the meds just is too much; I don't know what I would do if I dropped over 120k on 2 PAs.
I took the Arch. Tag out of my name. It's not worth it. Ignored is too light a word for it. Look under the Testing Fixes (we don't even have a category). I' m working on my combat skills.
Maybe i'll sell resources and wait for the fixes, but if i need an extra few points for combat skills, I know giving up Bulidingswill not be a loss...

Pfft...
600 resources lost ...that ain't nothing.
Try asking someone how many resources are lost from CF on 2 walls and 1 factory deed

Let us know when you fail on a single item containing 30,000 resources.
