Question for Architects...

I have seen a large generic house (I have one) that opens with stairs right up from the front door...

Is this Floor Plan I or II?

I don't remember, and I can't seem to find anyone who knows??!!

Style 1: Entrance in the middle, two stairs at either side of the entrance.

Style 2: Entrance on right of building, with stairs leading forward. There is also less usable room, yet the design suits stores better.
