Hi, I'm a new home owner. I was so eager to setup my new home that I put it in the first place I found. Now I want to move it to a better place. I'm a little nervousabout using the destroy option on the house control. Will I recover the deed if I have enough money in the maintenance pool? What about the content ,do I have to pick it up beforehand?

I have never had re-deeding fail.

Just make sure you have at least the ammount in Pay maintenance to recover the deed, if it says nothing aobut how much, then you already have enough in there to do it.

( I am not saying it never fails, I am saying I have never had it fail for me )

You need to empty the house first. Once everything is picked up, make sure you have 100 times the maintence rate in the maintence pool (so with a rate of 15, you would need 1500 credits or more in the pool). Then choose destroy twice and you will get the deed. Worst that will happen is you can get the invisible item bug, that would clear at thereset the next day (i've never had it happen with the few hundred structures I've re-deeded, but the bug is there...)
