That is the problem, I was using some I bought off of the bazaar thinking that the only thing that mattered on them was the ber. I made one myself and experimented to 95% and did make a ber10 chem with 2 great successes. Thanks for the response.

Although I have had trouble getting great successes when making harvestors in the past when I did get 2 greats or better I would get a ber10 when making a medium. However that has changed tonight for some reason.
I was making medium chem harvestors using the following
ore - heat 986, shock 969, ut 967
iron - heat 972, shock 921, ut 967
steel - heat 957, shock 955, ut 934
lubricating oil
ber4 fluidic drilling pump
14.73 crafting tool
33.09 station
using bespin port +5 to experimentation
my house is in a research center
I got on two tries
1 great, 1 amazing - 95%
2 greats - 95%
Both times my ber was 9. Did something change so that you have to have even better resources to get a ber10. Is anyone else having this problem. I am on tarquinas. Before today using same or similar resources i could get 2 greats and get a ber10.
Thanks

check the fluid drill pumps you are using. Although they are BER 4 they need to be fully experimented, a BER 4 pump that is barely there will count as lower quality to one that has been taken as high as you can go. So if it is 88% or below that is your problem, if it is above 90% you should be able to make it easily with the resources you have listed. I am assuming here that you have 10 exp points to use of course.
