Hey all, I've been a master architect for just 2 months, but have talked to several players andI think everyone is in an aggreance that there needs to be some changes to the architect profession. A major complaint seems to be not having different colored furniture. tailors can change their clothing, armorsmiths can change the color on their armo, why cant we change the color of the blanket on the bed? or the seat cushion on the couches? something different would be nice. I like the furniture, just think every house shouldnt have to be furnished with the same color scheme. Maybe have a few quests added in to get specific new sets of furniture, like armorsmith with RIS. another idea i had was having a master arch being able to customize the flooring and paint on the inside of someones house or guild hall. it would be a nice touch, and make houses more customizable bye players. just a couple ideas to throw out there, sorry if theres already been a similar post. any others have some new ideas? and how do we go about getting them noticed by the Devs?

Here's an idea - oceanic mining platforms, just remove the restriction that you can't place structures whilst mounted.

Whole bunch of uninhabitable/unusable land going to waste, especially on Yavin IV and Corellia (and Naboo's northern and southern border). Make them require twice the maint of flatland harvesters.

That and mountain-side capable harvesters, which require twice the maint of normal ones as well, but can be placed anywhere on land given the proper space.

The Devs'll like the "twice the maint" idea - they love to make it look like they're developing worthwhile credit sinks.

I bet someone has said something like this also but I think on harvesters and such they shouldn't decay themselves per say. But maybe have something like a power utilization module that decays and needs replacement every so often. So we can have a better market to sell. Since harvesters are cheap and last forever.

I understand that most ideas were already discussed in previous forums, but im new to the game and if figured i would attempt to make a post and hopefully get some new ideas flowing. nothing has been done with the profession ever....so i figured why not make another useless attempt to make some changes. its fun to see new ideas without scrolling through tons and tons of pages of postings just to bring it back to the top again.

Heres another idea i thought of...how about being able to harvest different seeds from the different planets and use the seeds to make new plants for house decorations. what does everyone think about that? or has that one been discussed before too?

I've always wanted the ability to have "personal bazaar terminals."

Put one in your house, and give people the ability to buy from their homes and pick up the items at their leisure.

...even if they were merely for browsing and waypointing, it'd be worthwhile.

Conversely, I've always thought the idea of mission terminals made no sense...the technology of Star Wars far outstrips ours, yet they don't have frickin' PDAs?

Keep in mind that several of the "static city only" items like bazaar terminals and spaceports are like this in an attempt to bring players together in a single location. This game is after all designed to be a social game. That is evident by the way the devs have pushed grouping so strongly.
