I see that SOE are going to suspend maintenance on all structures, starting on 9/9/05 will this mean that harvesters won't need power as well ?. If so that means we will lose any potential Fusion sales.

Can our corro try to find out exactly what will happen and if so petition tokeep power maintenance going.

While I appalude what SOE are doing it doesn't exactly cost them anything except some good will, but it has the potential to ruin the game for others, Architects in sales and miners in lost revenue from power.

They said "structure maintenance" specificallyso I assume that doesn't include power.

Its intended for the hurricane victims so I assume its a short term thing.

I had the same thought. I checked my harvester power pools on the few that I still haven't placed a Self Power Unit in. And yes they are still eating up power.

this is a great time to get going with lot swaps for fusion power generators

and yes the structures still take power /sigh having trouble finding it on shadowfire so most of my harvs are running with just enough to get them through the day lol

Not so sure about short term, has any one seen what happened to New Orleans? The entire city has been devastated. They have actually decided that moving the city of New Orleans would be cheaper than repair. It looks like it may remain under water. My relative works for Florida Power and he will be dispatched to help with the efforts there but that wont be for at least 3 months if at all.

We can only guess. But I think 1-3 months is likely. By then SOE will probably either just turn it back on or find some other solution for the specific people affected by the hurricane.
