Thread: building block housing
I don't know about the other architects but I don't want to be selling parts of houses. It's already hard enough selling "whole" houses at a reasonable price, parts would be considered so low that I'm quite sure that their price per ressource units spent would be even less since they would be considered nothing by themselves. But we do need more floorplans.

I can see what you mean, but I think it would be a lot easier to sell, of cause the resource needs of a section would never be the same as an total house, so when you would buy the core block it might be of somewhat equal resource and price as a small hous is now, bot an add-onn would be a lot cheaper, and therefore also smaler, and less resourcess, and that i think would encourage people to buy a large and nice custom made house ower time.
I know that I personaly have had an small house, and when that wasnt enough I went on the market to buy a bigger one, but there were no benefits to buying a larg house then, its price was way to high for what u actualy get, and most the space is of no use, It was cheaper and gave me more storage space to buy another small house.
Therfore i think it would be smart just to add a few rooms to the small one, and gradualy make the palace I realy wanted.
As an example, u buy a PA hall for use as an house, maint is wery high, cost of structure is high, and layout is not that good... I have wery seldom seen anyone use the low and upper levels of a structure, so in my opinion, those are spaces of no value that make you have to cramp your stuff on a relativly small space.
