ok I read the info posts up top, maybe I missed it but..
I bought a 250k set of composite with 2 high specials (75-80%) layered no doubt. I changed my 2ndary pools all to above 400 (yes I know I'll need a buff to get it on but cool you should see me stand there and laugh when I get hit by a flame througher) anyway the first time I put it on it all went on smoothly. however the 2nd and 3rd tome I couldn't get the helm on. I got a good buff (most if the pools up by 1800+) and than ate a lil mind spice and got a dancer mind buff just to be sure. I had more than enough left in my 2ndary and primary HAM to put the helm on but it wouldn't go on, I even tried a helm from another unlayered set I have just to make sure and that one wouldn't go on. I don't understand because I had more than enough points to get it on. I tried to put on right after I was buffed, I had no droids out, had no wounds or battle fatigue. no pets out I was totally clean and healed. Can someone please help me out, I also have this problem with my unlayered set.

I wonder if anyone can help. I'm trying to get to novice architect and have mastered artisan already. I've been crafting items so that I have 24588 xp of 33000 generic crafting xp. Unfortunatley I now can gain no more xp as I have qualified for novice weapons smith as the requires only 21000 generic crafting xp. I'm presuming that I have reached the xp cap until I gain Novide weaponsmith ( NWS ). My issue is this seems unfair as I dont want to waste the xp or skill slots gaining NWS just to start again ( in xp terms ) just so I can get master artisan.

That doesn't sound right. The XP cap should be double the next highest skill you can qualify for.
What are you making?

This also implies that I have to get novice droid engineer aswell before I can try and get Novice Architect because this requires 28800 xp.
Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Any help I could get would be gratefully accepted.

I saw this type of bug mentioned on another forum. I think you are still getting the exp but it's not displaying. Have you tried logging out and back in? I think that's what they said fixed it on the other forum.....
