It depends on the size, a small house takes up 2, the others I'm not sure about, but I would think 4 for medium and 6 for large.

is there a listing anywhere that shows how many lots each item takes to build?

Small style 1 house = 2 lots
Small style 2 house = 1 lot
Medium = 2 lots
Large = 6 lots
Guild Hall = 9 lots (7 i think for Tatooine)
Structure factory = 2 lots
All other factories = 1 lot
Harvesters = 1 lot (any size harvester)

Ok that is what I thought. Is there a bug or something if you let something decay you don't regain those. Had that stupid bug where couldn't log on and I couldn't afford to pay for repair on 2 windmills. I am only adding up to 8 lots.

I was wondering if you can get extra lots if I created another char on another server, then somehow transfer items to my SW on Starsider without using the Transfer service that you have to pay for?

Not sure what you are asking but, 10 lots per account per server is the limit.

ummm...well...I think the short answer would be No. I'm still waiting for my brain to finish translating your question tho heh I don't belive you can transfer anything between servers without using the character transfer service, which negates what you're trying to do in the first place. I think.

Wrong. 10 lots per char is the limit, not per account per server.
I have 2 chars in the same server with the same account (one is a jedi, obviously) and I have 20 lots, 10 from each char.

Yeah I know about the Jedi giving you extra lots. I suppose I should have put that in there.

Ups, I didn't mean you don't know about the jedi lots. It's just that at first all characters in the same server and account were meant to share lots, but I guess this was too difficult for the devs and each char has his/her 10 lots. That's great news for all craftes, and in fact I know people who unlocked his jedi just to have 10 more lots and has 0 jedi skills (aside from the FS ones)
