Ok, Im about 75% thur to Novice Architect and im about grinded out! Is it going to be worth all the hassle I went thur once I get there? Is there a market for my items now? I have the resources to grind it out the rest of the way.

When you make Novice Architect do you at least get some decent crafting xp? I mean can you at least make it up the skill tree a lttle fast than it took to go from Artisan to Architect?

Don't do it if you're measure of 'worth it' is based on speed of progression through the skill tree. Architect takes a lot of work and even more materials.

My advice, get as many harvesters as you can working for you. You'll need more materials than you can ever get.

The end result is you can make things very few people in the game can. I for one enjoy that. It is work gathering all the resources and fun building the structures, for me at least. Good luck to you, but don't think it gets any easier after Novice.

Yes, it's worth it I think. It's hard and it's frustrating and not without financial risks if you can't spend3 hrs a day at it. But first day I thought I was going to be a droid engineer. When I got the invite in my power grind to Arch it was very very tempting. But I passed it up and now I'm glad I did. Arch is a wide open profession. If nothing else you gain the ability tobuild really cool things for yourself.

Plus I believe there's another good reason for doing it , the next major SWG release will introduce Starships. Who do you think will be building them? The most successful novice shipbuilders will be the high level Archs who will already have access to a large resource extraction network.

No. It's not. Quit now please. There are already too many architects. Competition is fierce right now.

It's totally worth it. The day you build and move into your first small home, you'll have a grin from ear to ear, same at medium, and same I imagine at all the other waypoints of XP progress you set as individual next goals.

Just be aware that's it's very competitive, it requires careful management of where, how and when you're getting your resources, and that there's lots of mean Architects waiting to jump all over your case if you sell anything below what THEY deem appropriate. *sarcastic snicker*

It's completely different from any MMORPG experience I've had up to now. It's very enjoyable. I smile all day long. =)
