the prices on houses are crazily low. The proft margins are so low I cannot pay for my harvestors. Compared to a droid engineer, I spend 20k resources on a house that sells for as much as a probot. additionally there is no way to compare my better house created by my master skills to a novices super junky one, in the way that that robots can be comepared for shopping. Its neat to build stuff but there is no way I can make a liivng against a guild. Im unattached

Its gonna be really shaky at the moment as everyone is still training so they go for xps rather than profit, give it another week and i think the market will be a little more healthy.

It's a very frustrating time for us Arch's. I don't have a "bread and butter" item that I can sell to bring in capital to cover extractors and factory expenses. In addition, with the resouce changes I need to do planet travel to find those missing items... IE Reactive Gas non-existent on Tattoine(Chilastra) at the moment. Coming up with the cash to do planet hopping tough.I can run missions to get the money.. but that takes me away from crafting anything.

So don't drop your arch skill... maybe focus on something else for a while to ride it out. Now would be a good time to build up another tree, or do some fun exploring.

Really. Am I the only one who is at Exp rifle and pistol. I would kill myself if I just crafted all day and be bored if I hunted all night. I do a little of both and i am doing great. I make houses for my friends, furnish them and we are building a small town outside of mos entha, 3 houses now 5 soon more when i move up that will be made public 24/7. I have crafting bays in mine in my workshop. But then i solo missions all over the place to run my machines plus my friends understnd this is my job too and help maintain harvestors. We are a small PA but are doing quite well. We dont have the massive harvestors grinding but we are making ends meet and having fun. I think people are forgetting that aspect even though i try to put in every post I do...have fun, its a freaking game. I play about 3-5 hours a night. longer on weekends and I have given up the grind. I make things when i or friends need them. I am almost a master artisan, I am a novice architect, building 1 this weekend. And I am also going up the rifleman tree to be a sniper, I have scouting skills and right now I am stretched a bit thin but I will sell back points when i need them as I advance. I like the skill tree method of advancement and have not gotten too much into the, "I am an artisan/architect, i must make a living from the bazaar and compete with everyone to make it in SWG. " I make stuff for me and some others, have fun, solo and hunt in groups with friends and I may not be as far as some but I am further than others. Don't worry about beating this game in 2 weeks. Relax and have some fun, migrate some points to Health and go use your armor, use a nice gun you have made and kill some womprats.

I'm running 3 medium harvesters and 2 wind. I whip 2k in each harvester a day brining my costs to 10k a day. I have 20k in bank (I'm poor) which means I have 2 days that I can run.

SO what to do: Destroy Missions. I only need to do 8 destroy missions a day to maintain my harvest costs. I do 2 at a time, in the same location. Takes an hour or 2...plus I get hides for Furniture, scout xp, marksman xp and medic xp.

Plus it makes my days less boring.

wow Alzyre.. you sound just like me =)

We've got 4 houses at our 'town' location, and me and the other couple of crafters have houses outside of our town near resources. I'm a master artisan, working through architect, and I've just started working up rifle (instead of pistol or carbine, both of which I did a drop of previously). I'm not a scout, but I'm a part time dancer. I'll be giving up dancing, and eventually some of my old artisan skills in favor of sniper and droid engineering, the former to keep me from getting bored and the latter to keep me from being poor =)
