I have a great idea if you all are willing to help.
If you own a house and are willing to have people visit it, post your server, location and type of house on this thread.
This will allow people to go look at "models" before purchasing the house.

My shop is a Medium Corellia house on Bria, just outside of Tyrena.
Check my signature for location.

Almost sounds like an excellent way to make some spare change through Access Fees...

I had another idea for this:
Architects, when you sell someone a house, ask the new owner if he wouldn't mind adding you to the administrator list so that you could occasionally let other people drop in and see an example of what they'd be getting. Expect a lot of people to say they'd rather not, but some people would be fairly cool about it. I probably would.
I was going to say offer people an incentive (like a bit off the price) if they offered to do this, but you'd be getting a lot of people accepting to get the incentive then not following through.
The burden would be heavy for you to be responsible with this power, promising that you'd get the owner's okay before bringing people in (if he's online), promising to remove any visitors from the access list the instant they leave, promising to never use that privilege for any other purpose but showing off floorplans, and most importantly, keeping those promises scrupulously, because your reputation would be on the line.

I have a guild complex on Flurry, Naboo, just north of Keren at 1200/3800. It has every style of Naboo house and every factory. At least one of each is open to the public.

Or just make the building public. Given that noone can take items from it I see this as an extremely more viable option than adding the Architect to the admin list. I personally have invested a lot of money in furniture and hope people stop in and see my house. I am proud of the way it looks :=)

On Gorath there is a group of houses just south of Theed across the river (including mine). Most are closed, but there are a number of them open of various styles and sizes up through large.
