I can now make a droid detector as a furniture item. What is this for or do?

For? Looking pretty.
Do? Sit in your house.
At this time, I really can't find any other use for it. This also goes for data terminals.
Does anyone else know any more about these items than I do?

In my PAs Hall they have one room in the basement set up like a medical facility, They have small beds against the walls with data terminals in between. Looks just like a medical facility along with a few other items for that added touch.
Completely useless, but does great for immersion and realism. That room looks like the Devs built it.
