I thought items made in factories gave xp? I just made 50 structural modules - 10,000 ore and 2,500 metal and got no structure xp. I feel so stupid, I just threw away 25,000 xp........I guess factories should only be used when you need identical parts or when you are already a master...sigh.

Sevia they supposedly give 10% of the xp you would get by making it yourself, but you have to be within a certain range of it to receive it and not in a camp or city. Not sure anyone is positive about the actual range.

Actually you can be across the planet (and I think on a different planet), the thing is though that someone has to be in the same area as the factory for it to be loaded into the world.

You should of gotten 2500xp from the factory, not 25000.

I believe Sevia ment that the 25000xp that would have come from making them by hand was thrown(SP?) away.
