I just made engineering 4 and now I need 33k of Crafting XP to make Novice Architect. Does anyone have any tips on how to get through this quickly?

Get lots of crappy wood and steel to make Heavy Axes. Grind by hand especially with the newer practice mode. I did it in one, two days tops. Easier said than done, but this goes pretty quick if you have the mass amounts of the wood and steel that you will need.

If you have the scout tree, building camp kits is great. 2-man camps is what I used to grind out the entire Master Artisan tree in 2 days. Hides and bones are generally cheaper than metal. Not hard to find crappy hides and bones for cheap on the bazaar. I often found piles of 2000+ for 3000c. 8hide and 4bone per camp kit in practice mode gets you 52xp for a 2-man camp. Use 2 crafting tools and alternate between them so that you don't have to wait out the hopper times.

Oh yeah, I should add that I ground out Novice Architect and Novice Weaponsmith along with Master Artisan in those 2 days with camp kits. Didn't specify that in the above post and it better points out exactly how good camp kits are for exp.
