So I was wondering that if architects were given more plots than maybe people would be more interested in staying an architect and not switching to a new proffesion. I was wondering if any of the designers had mentioned giving architects perhaps 5 more plots or so if not, somebody should give them that idea. It just doesn't seem fair that marksman and architects have the same amount of plots. I mean cmon now a marksman hunts and maybe has a small house. There all they need is 2 plots for that small house but architects have to have numerous extractors to supply their resource needs, they have to have a factory to be able to build some things, and they usually have a house to store things and have vendors. Think about the number of plots needed for all that. Architects def. need more plots and I think when you learn the skill of Novice Architect you should be given some additional plots.

Thanks

First off there are still too many archtects.
Second you are beating a dead horse on the lot issue.
I do agree architects should get more lots as the level

This alone would solve nothing really though. If you were to give an architect who is selling their goods at 2-3 cpu more lots then they would mine more resources and sell more of their goods at the same low low price. I think that you perceive that this might solve some of your problems by giving you more resources to make the big items with. The real solution to this apparent problem though would be to charge 6+ cpu on goods so that you can buy from miners at 3-4 cpu and keep the money flowing.

The idea to have more lots comes from a "lack" mentality. You dont have enough (resources) so you want to get more. You CAN get more resources though but you are going to have to pay for it. Let the Miner become a player in the economy too. The end consumer can and will support it.

The market is in flux atm, let it roll. Architects will come and go, miners will too. Prices for resources will go up and down as will the price of finished goods. Hold onto resources when they are worth more than your finished product and sell your product when they are worth more than the base resources. Do you need to sell items at a loss? Do you NEED to be a Master Architect ASAP just to sell PA halls for below cost also? If you can't sell goods at a decent profit as an architect then sell some of your resources to maintain your harvestors and get a hobby, be a CH, a pistoleer, a dancer. You don't have to give up being an architect but find something to do while our economy is in such a state. Here is a good tip: Sell walls to Master Architects for 3cpu, you get money for maintenance and XP from the walls.

Do your own thing, if you want to sell at a loss then go ahead and do so. You may want to consider though if you bought SWG to enjoy or to grind (ugh), be your own boss above all else.

Devs want an interdependent economy. Only way to do that is limit peoples ability to be self sufficient. By limiting our lots it makes you

1. Buy resources from other folks

2. Be social and find people to let you use their lots

3. Rent lots from other folks.

I would not expect the devs to change their basic philosophy and give us more lots.
