Thread: newbie question: What to do after novice arch.
Sorry, this might seem like stupid questions. I just sampled/grinded myself up to novice arch. I have very little experience with crafting and none of architect.
I was thinking of grinding crafting stations now for xp. Is this a good way to go for xp after nov arch?
Biggest problem seem to be resources though. I guess I should buy harvesters or:
can I build harvesters myself as a novice arch?
As a novice architect out for exp pts, I suggest you grind structural modules. You will need lots of them in the future to make walls.
If you have the credits, go buy a few medium harvesters and start mining ORE. You will need lots of it. you can use personal harvesters, but make sure you make them or get them with a base extraction rate of 4 to make it worth while.I would suggest a harvester or twoon some steel. There are other materials you will need, but you can decide if you want to minethem or buythem on your own later (such as aluminum and reactive gas). Do not forget about power generators for your harvesters....they need fuel!
Installations I will grant you the ability to build your first harvs. However, for now I'd suggest you go buy as many mediums you can afford (keep some green for maintenance). Plug em in for some ore/steel and once you got some resources on your hands, start grinding construction modules. Walls and ore will become your most needed fixes soon and you might as well start to supply the stock for them now. Once you sell a couple deeds, get a vendor and begin to see a steady flow of money to your bank account, switch from medium harvs to heavy and begin your mass production from there.
Okay this was very general, if you have more questions plz look me up in game (names Stehte) or holler here. Enjoy the profession. ![]()
