Just wondering if you only have to make one 13 BER and make it into a schematic and then make as many as you want from a factory or if you have to experiment on each on individualy and hope tonot fail in the experimentation.

Hi,

for sure its possible to make a Schematic, if you have the required Ressources for Factory Manufacturing.

Yeah, but if you want to make 1000 then you need 2000 identical Ore Harvesting Units (impossible) and 6000 identical Walls and Small Structure Storage modules (also impossible).

If you did a run of 1000 walls, and 1000 small structure storage modules, then you concievably could make 166 BER 13 Harvs in a factory, but is it really worth the effort?

i ran off a schematic of about 30 heavy harvestors a while back, i hated that the ore mining units were individual, took so long.... You just have to have a few million resources lying around.

completely agree with the the prev poster. i just ran off 25 of them for an order... with the amount of failures on experimentation this is the best way to go if you have the resources available. and i'll confirm i didn't need identical walls... i made the schematic using non identical walls, then dropped factory crates of walls into the hopper and they worked just fine.

Do the deeds come out in crates or individually?

Unfortunately, deeds come out individually.

You don't need identicle walls. Any wall hand made or factory made would work. Making schematics of the ER13's is the best way to go, since crit fails on experimentation happen often. Its worth it to give up one harvester to make 30-50 .. believe me.

Would be pretty cool if they come in a 25 item crate :-)

Hi,

the point for me here is, is it intended that you can use similar walls instead of identic walls for factory production. I would be happy if its not a bug, cause otherwise its almost impossible to make them in the factory. However, an official comment about this would be great.

Yes, it is intended. They were initially identical, and it was changed, because it just wasnt feasible to expect people to be able to come up with enough identical walls to make schematics worth using on larger items. Incidentally, schematics for walls will now pull from crates of structuremodules properly. And the structural units do not have to have the same serial number. Hell, I can throw 2 hand made structs in with a crate of 8 and it will work.

Phaze, you mix up Craft-Schematics with Factory-Schematics.

If you need "similar" for "handcrafting", that has nothing to do with factory-crafting. Factories always needed factory-pre-produced Components.
