Thread: Items outside structures?

Hey all...


Perhaps this is a n00b question, but I've seen furniture items placed outside structures. Minefield warning signs made out of those free-standing lamps and such.


How is this done?

By the way, the reason I'm asking about this is that I was grinding on statues last night.


I thought I'd see what one looks like, so I dropped it in my house. It's gigantic! Surely it can't be for indoor use?

It is for both in-door use and outdoor use (outdoor only for politicians in player city with correct skills). You choose whatever you want to do with them....


They are nice though. I have a fountain of contemplation inside my city hall.

Ah, so politicians can place them outside. That 'splains it.


Too bad. I thought a couple of those regal warrior statues flanking my house would be really cool.

About the minefields, though. Not much of a minefield if it comes with its own warning sign, eh? Doesn't that defeat the purpose a bit? Don't step on me! I'm a minefield!
