Faction Missions Building things for Faction points!!!

I have all this skill, can build a city and have doneso, but I will get outdone in a heartbeat by someguy with a blaster kicken butt and geting 50 - 100 points while I am pluging along getting 17 points of faction for a delevry mission. What do the Rebs or the Imp's not what a high ranking Arch running around?
