Thread: BER 14 Mineral Claims
I'm getting reports that these are turning up. Any confirmations?
Jaye
but your standard mineral digger should not be able to hit 14, unless, in theory, you have PERFECT resources and experimentation. But as stated up above... almost perfect just won't cut it. When was the last time you saw a resource with 2 stats at 1000, let alone the 3 stats that the harv would require?
That's what I thought. Just wanted to confirm. I'll chaulk this up to another wierd attempt to get me to come down on the price of my BER 13's

Seen a couple of people claim this on these boards but when you pressfor any details/info/proof, they quickly vanish. I'm not saying14s non-fusions cannot be made (perhaps with a great skills tape/amazing materials and/or a city bonus) but frankly if anyone was able to do this we'd be hearing about it regularly from more than one or two players this long after the patch. The inevitable advertising spam that would follow on a server forum would also be picked up and repeated here - hence I suggest no one's made one to date.

Jaye, I had someone asking me about BER13 heavies and when I told him my price, he said he could buy a BER14 for the same price
. I told him to go ahead and buy the BER14, and wanted to know who was selling them but the guy just ran off without another word and I haven't heard from him since.
I haven't seen anyone yet who can get the ore units to base 7 or get 100% experiment on the harvestors themselves (and even tapes won't give you the extra experiment slot you need - though if you got an amazing on all 10 experiment slots you would be able to use the extra point I guess).
I have not heard of getting 14s yet, but I do think it 'might' be possible. I get 13s consistently, and I get my experimentation up to 95% on my mining units, and 93% on my final assembly. My resources are pretty good, UT like 925 SR and HR are both 980+. I just got some chem with SR of 935. On my server a few months ago was a steel that had 992 UT, and both 950+ HR/SR. I think that if I used this I could get 14. I think that it 'clicks' a notch when you pass the 1/2 way mark, (ie 95%, 85%, 75% ect). if anyone can add to this info, that would be great! Thanks.

Since the patch we can make BER13 heavies and BER14 fusions. I haven't seen anyone say "I can make a fusion greater than 14 since the patch." I have heard "stories" of people claiming that their best friend's third cousin's next door neighbor could make heavies greater than BER13. However, when pressed they seem not to exist. There was an architect who asserted to one of my customers that they could not only make BER14s consistantly but that they were hitting BER16. When it came time to deliver the story was "oh, they changed the formula and I can only make BER13s now."
I have made a heavy with a 97% ore unit and 98% on final and it came out to ER:13 so I think that anyone claiming to have a 14 is full of crap.

Since the mount and Player city patch till last Wednesday the Max for heavy harvesters was a BER 13 for all but Fusions and their Max was BER 14. Those max where determined by myself using the best-recorded materials form SWGCraft.com web site, for all Components and in the final assembly.
The best starting BER I had was at 22% efficiency was BER 11 and when I reached the Max achievable in the experiment stage was at 96% I only had a BER 13. It seems possible if Steel, ore, chemical and gas all had 999 or 1000 in UT, SR and HR
I have asked several times in the forums if anyone has gotten a higher BER since this patch in question and no has yet come forward to say they have gotten a higher BER.
