hello architech,

This post is to have your opinion about a question i was thinking about.

As you know, Amorsmith and Weaponsmith can do uber and rare weapons and armor made by some rare loot items which increase their stats, that makes a lot of person working and loot fortheseprofessionwich makes interaction between customers and crafters.

My question is : why other profession has not the same, specially us ?

Probably because our structures don't decay. It's pretty dangerous putting in 'uber' things on a permanent basis.

Yes I think it would be nice if we had some loot schematics. They could be limited use and even temporary in nature but it would be nice.

Are you looking to buy a painting or get a schematic?

I think putting a loot drop for fusion harvesters would be good.. something that allowed them to get up to say.. BER 20?

technically this won't break anything since many still have the old BER 20+'s. And make it have some type of timmer than when it counts down to goes back to BER 14. say.. 30 days on being placed?

Because it sucks.....

Geonosian Cores for weapons, people typically want 2-5k for (on the bazaar), when the benefit of these cores are minimal.

Klicknik Glands, for sale 500 apiece. They up the damage of a C22 by about 90 or so. The grenade only has *5* uses, and I barely sell them at 500 a stack as it is, *without* the gland.

Krayt Tissue: Not as good as people think it is. Not worth 100k each. I will *never* buy Krayt Tissue at this price. Or at 50k per. I'll think about 10k per.

Ultiamtely, while the looted items for the Weaponsmith have some benefits, people won't pay for it. My Curved swords go for about 2k apiece. I can sell a Curved Sword with an Advanced Core for about 3k. If I buy a Geonosian Core for 5k, who is going to pay 7k for a Curved Sword that is *slower* than an Advanced one, does *less damage* than advanced, but with a higher accuracy modifier?

Nobody I know.

Ultimately, this is a bad idea (looted stuff in general) that was implemented because combatty types whined and whinged for loot.

And *don't* get me started on the Looted Weapons.......... grrr........

Looted Schematics are a slightly different issue. Slightly.

I'd like to see some Looted Schems for unique buildings. Maybe enhanced the specialisation of a city that it was placed in. Maybe recharged Deflector Shields within 200m. Somthing like that.

Or just looked nice would be good too.

But, the combatty types would price gouge, and the more wealthy Architects would facilitate this by being morons and throwing millions at whoever looted the item.

Look at the Auction on Starsider: AV-21 going for 1.7mil or thereabouts. *in*-*sane*......

How can you have 'uber' Arch loot? What could you have a BER 10000000 personal mineral harv? I just truly cant think of any reasons architects or people would need an 'uber' thing an Arch could make, 'sides paintings.

Well why not? They could just code something if they chose.See, people are asking for things to revive the class, since it's dying and going to die. And why wouldn't it? All the products can last forever, even the decayable lights which generally keep working if you leave them in place.

You drastically misunderstood what I meant by that. I said what kind of loot could they be given that would help the prof, not that they couldnt code it. They can code in anything(close to it) but just that what would justify the effort that it would take to get the schem and the sub componets. Also I said "what could a person need an 'uber' arch item for?", I still cant think of any 'uber' item using lootable componets that would justify the price of this item. The profession may be dying (may be) but it doesnt need more items it needs to be revamped(in awnser to your last sentance).
