hey guys, i was looking through my skills box a long time ago and i noticed the Industrialist XP count was +4. i have no idea what i did to earn this or what it is used for. anyone have any ideas on this? i heard rumours of something to do with your GWC ranking, but that's not true cos not everyone has it (namely, non-crafters)
let me know what you guys come up with!

There are some old threads on this. If you throw "industrialist" into the search box at the bottom of the page you'll get a number of hits.
Looks like the answer is that there used to be an Industrialist profession in Beta that was removed along with Miner. So this appears to be a left over from a dead profession. i.e. useless.

You get it from running factories. I'm not really sure abut this because I don't have any...

There may have been an Industriast profession in closed beta but there never was in public beta. I was in from Beta one. At any rate it is an artifact profession at this point they just never took out the code that keeps track of the xp. I'm not too sure but I think the xp comes from units that get produced in a factory. I have something close to 200k industrialist xp and I never bothered to even look at where I was getting it from
I don't recall seeing any getting added in a long time though /shrug.
