Hey all,
Just checking to see what y'all do with rush orders and/or bulk orders. Personally I offer a 20% discount on any bulk order (which I define as 5 or more structures, or 20+ pieces of furniture). I haven't been charging a rush fee to this point, although I have had several custom orders which required delivery within a 12-24 hour time period. Anybody tack on an extra fee for this kind of service time?
Like I said, just curious to see what others are doing and whether it's working or not...

I have offered 10% off for 10 or more of the same thing and/or 10% off for repeat customers (of note).
Its all up to the individual. If you're doing vendor sales and selling well enough then theres not much incentive to offer discounts. If you take harvester orders from miners then such discounts might help (in my opinion).
I like to give bigger repeat customers a break in pricing cause it helps keep them as customers. I appreciate them doing business with me and want to give them a good deal in return.

I only do it for my repeat customers - and they don't have to be Architect repeat customers, just in general. Depending on the complexity, I'll offer a 10 or 20% discount.
I generally shy away or don't bother with volume requests but I won't go down to the price point most expect.
