Even better... empty your vendors, pull down your harvesters, factories, and houses in protest!
That'll show those Devs!
Oh... and tell me where the newly available land is. I'll be sure to "keep an eye on it" for you.

Umm HELLO? Are you serious? OMG!!! This has to do with everyone! Its to boycott lack of devs community involvement. This directly has to do with all professions! If you want more content, more stuff to make, or whatever then thia has to do with you. Don't be ignorant. Think outside the box.
Im sure you have had friends leave the game, well this is to honor them as well. Geez people. Get it together!

This post invites you to join me in a day-long boycott of swg on Friday, July 23rd 2004 in honor of the many players that have left swg. It is only a day long, and all you need to do to participate is /sign this thread and not login on Friday. I am personnaly sick of the lack of community involvement the developers have shown and would just like to make Friday one of SWG's lowest turnouts. Maybe this will maybe turn a few heads at their office and maybe realize that although they can take our money, make hundreds of my in-game friends leave the game, and completely ignore posts, they have not earned the love and the respect of the players that are playing this game.
Thanks,

Actually I disagree, the Devs while often slow to communicate (TH has fixed this somewhat) have always been working to improve the game (despite what people think, it is their job now) and having played since Beta the game HAS massively improved (with many bugs being fixed).
While I still get annoyed at bugs (was hit with one tonight) I still enjoy this game and to my mind many things are being improved, have been improved and will be improved (but I must admit never as fast as people want).
Like all things in life this game is not perfect (and never will be), neither are the Dev's but then they are just people, like us.
So I think your boycott is misguided, I would not dispute your right to put forward your opnion, but I do not agree with it.
Also a small point, it is only a small percentage of the player base that actually know about and read the forums (from many ingame experiences I suspect it is a VERY small percentage) so while calling for a boycott here will reach some (and others by word of mouth) I suspect it is not the most effective way to get your message around.
I would suggest AFK spamming in Coronet (maybe even a merchant droid)
you would probably reach more players (and get less posts saying "why are you posting this here").

Step away from the bong. Do it now mister!!
1. Still didn't answer my question, what's this got to do with Architects?
2. It accomplishes nothing. Any protest worth its damn needs to be DISRUPTIVE. How the hell does lowering their bandwidth requirements for a day while they still collect your $$$ every month something to take notice?
To honour them? Honour them for what? For quitting the game? - what the hell kind of tribute is that!!?
This is the most idiotic thing I've read in awhile.

GROW UP will ya!!
I feel, the Dev and CSR's are doing a FANTASTIC job. This game has gone a long way from it's original game and there's more coming. They are constantly working, tweaking, adding, changing.
Work with them - not against.

yeah.. I will say that though the dev communication is not as efficient they are making Huge Strides in improving it and improving the tool established to bring the voice of the players to the devs.. via the correspondent program.. they are doing some HUGE things in the next few months that show just how much they are taking things serious..
Also as I have said before in the past.. Just because the devs may not openly speak on the forums.. does not mean that they have not heard you...

How can you boycott something you've already paid for? What a dope.
Personally, I want the devs actually developing new product for me, not wasting time on the forums trying to appease whiny inconsolable children.
I suggest you go ahead and boycott. Someday you'll look back and be proud that you stoodfirm withyour principles on such an important issue.
In the meantime Iwill drop a diseased womp rat in your honor, and in honor of all of those who have quit before you.
