I've been an architect for many, many months now and in all that time I had never seen a spawn of Ore with a concentration greater than 69% (excepting the new JtL Fermionic Siliclastic Ore). I was convinced that Ore was capped at 70% and dismissed reports of people seeing higher concentrations as either mis-remembering or being a long time ago, under a different resource spawn system. Certainly Ore would never spawn higher than 70% today. I was wrong. I just had the great fortune to find a 71% concentration of Ore. Typically the terrain wasn't flat enough so I could only get one Heavy Mineral Mining Installation on it, but I got the rest of a 69% spot at least.
Anyway, this begs the question - if the cap on ore is not 70%, then what is it? Is there actually a hard cap or is the probability of getting higher concentrations just ridiculously low?

Yes, I'm aware that the JtL Fermionic Siliclastic Ore is uncapped, but unfortunately that's of no use what-so-ever when you need Carbonate Ore

I've come to believe it's capped at 75%, since I once had a concentration of 72%

Odd, Iknow I've come across orespawns in the 80 range. Not all too often, but I know that I have seen them before JTL.

In 16 months of playing I've seen 7-10 spawns of regular ore over 70%, including a couple in the 76-78% range.
