Thread: Crit fails on experimentation increase with last weeks patch??

Last week (after the patch on the 16th) I began crafting deeds for my vendor, I crafted 60 harvesters but had to destroy 27 of them due to critical failures when experimenting. I initially thought i was bugged but needed to stock my vendor so i kept crafting ( i had plenty of walls and components but it still pissed me off so much that i logged off immediately after loading what i had in my vendor).

Anyway i use >900 quality resources and have never in my 14 months as an architect had crit fail rates this high. Then this past monday evening a friend emails me, he needs a Heavy Mineral harvester asap, I say sure and begin to make him one. I had to craft 3 heavy mineral harvesters to get 1 good one with no crit fails.

I am beginning to think about giving up crafting altogether, CSR's have proven themselves completely useless and refuse to even address this issue. I will try again this weekend to craft supplies for my vendor, I hope my crit fail rate is back to normal otherwise my days as a crafter are numbered. Collecting resources and crafting to support a vendor in Brenn (SF)is a lot of work, and to have crit fail rates around 50% as a Master Architect is too much for me to take.

Sorry to rant but i just wonder if any others are having this problem also, as i would wait it out until it gets fixed if that is the case.

Havent had many crit fails on harvs in a while...

But I suggest that you do factory runs instead of crafting the harvs one by one, its alot safer, and a real time saver. I make one schematic and just fill my factory input hopper. Whenever it runs out, I just add more of the same components and start it again. That way I usually make 80-100 heavy harvs with one schematic.
