Thread: Decorating Questions
People drop things on stairs and then manually move them to walls, tables, etc.
I have tried to do it myself but found I didn't have the patience for it. ![]()
I think you just use the move commands, like /move back 30
But someone who has done it themselves could probably help more. ![]()
/Movefurniture (forward/back) (1-50)
example: /movefurniture forward 25
The "forward" and "back" is relative to where your character is facing. You can turn at a slight angle to the direction you want to move something in to move it at an angle.
/rotatefurniture (right/left) (1-180)
example: /rotatefurniture right 45
The rotate command is kind of screwed up...the rotate from the radial menu and the rotate from teh command line rotate in different directions. One is relative to the object one is relative to you...I can't remember which.
Create a few examples of these and put them in an empty toolbar.
I have /movefurniture forward 1,2,3,5,10,25 and 50. /rotatefurniture right (and left) 1,3,5,15,30,45 and 90. I don't think there is a need for /movefurniture back since you can just turn around.
It could be just me and too many parties over the years, but...
/rotatefurniture left/right command seems to rotate thing in the opposite direction as the left/right option on the radial menu. Every time I rotate something at an odd angle, I have to think to myself, "I want it to turn right, so left..."
People with one story houses are limited to only raising items about a foot off the floor, which can be done by placing the item in a doorwar and pulling it back out. Not very much height at all, but works decently for some things.
thanks so much for the info
