Well before I had 2 accts, I was a wook archi....With good resources, I didint have a prob getting 13s and 14s. Now as a human 11.5pt expr pt and a few extra assembly mods, some food and a little food...I can only get 12 for the heavies and 13 for the fusion.....I have top quality resources and the BER on the main component is 6 BER.....is there something else I need to be doing? Thanks

City does not make a diference. I live and craft in a med ity and hit BER 13's this morning. I hope you get it sorted out though

I would like to thank you for the input......I have used lub oil.....I am going to start from scratch and make a few components as good as I can, then the harvs....and see what happens.......I use high 900 for the resources....again thanks

You want to use lube oil. Its the best for arch components.
Get that experimentation on components up to 95-98% and you will be set. Use Lube oil in final production also.

Are you experimenting the mining parts up as high as you can? Its not good enough to get them to BER 6. You really have to experiment them to 90%+ too. The final BER is based on the sum of the mining part experimentation and the final harvester experimentation and needs to be 176% or more.

I am....I take the same care and put in Hi qual resources into the parts......I experiment on the parts as high as it goes too. Could it be that the city I live in is a Med city? (it got built around me) If I lived in an Industial (cant remember the exact name) City would it be better? Eh, so I dont get 100k+ for harvs......I do the BER 12 and roll with 90k or so.

THe city you live in won't make that much difference. You should be able to hit maximum BER irregarless of any city mods.
What are the stats on the materials you're using? Are you using lub oil for your chemical?

Are you sure you didn't get a Critical Failure when making your Ore Mining Unit or Fluidic Drilling pump? With veryhigh quality resources, and as an 11pt Archi, if you are experimenting 1 point at a time and have a Crit Failure or Good Success you could still experiment your unit to a BER 6 at 90%+. However, the Crit Failureaffects the quality of the final product and the BER, so you willonly get BER12 Heavies and BER13 Fusions - in fact, when crafting with those units I've found you run out of room on the experimentation bar before you run out of points so it is not possible to reach maximum BER.
I'd chuck out your mining units and makea freshschematicexperimented to 95%and try again.

I can get to BER 13 and always end up with my 11th point of experimentation free. Unless is a fusion, I use them all to get to 14.

Once again all, Id like to thank you for the ideas, and help. I have used the same components that I had, about the same in the quality of resources, and BEHOLD BER 13, and 14 on the fusion............I know what it was,..................want me to tell you???????
Lube oil
Thanks again

Wow, thanks for that bit of knowledge. So is LubeOil the best thing because it doesn't have anything to experiment on ? Or is this a hidden secret from the early days ?
Thanks anyway. Gives me something for my Architect Char to do .. hunt down that Lube Oil. Haven't got an ounce of it seeing as nothing specifically asks for it for any of my crafting chars.

Lub oil works best since it does not have the HR, SR or UT stats. When the material doesn't have the stats it just doesn't count in the equation.
