Thread: FYI, Agitator Motor schematic is broken
This kind of thing does not promote good will in the player base.
- What you were attempting to craft
- When (roughly) the attempt occured
- Where / when (roughly) you received the components from: (by trade, vendor, picked up from a house, etc) We do not nescessarilly need all the components, so please provide what information you can to assist us.
We will be investigatingeach situationon a case by case basis, and will provide assistancewhere we can, based on the informationavailable to us. If we are able to provide replacement parts, please DO NOT re-attempt creation of the item until an announcement has been made that the problem has been addressed by Development in a hotfix or mini-publish. Refunded items lost in a crafting session crash before a fix has been pushed livewill not be replaced.

Seems this is a loot item concerning the recyclers, correct? It is a big issue since it is a bugged item. But none the less, about a loot item.
Which has been said that the topic needs to be discussed in the loot and items forums.
So this guy comes around asking about where to get parts for the recyclers and was promptly told to go to the loot forums. Not even a "Sorry, I dont know the answer, look here" kind of deal, just basically GTFO of this forum post.

I can see how it may look hypocritical.
Let me explain where *I* draw the distinction.
This thread is me giving my peers a heads up about an expensive, broken schematic that they might very well be attempting to craft for themselves. It is not purely architect related, true. But it can/does impact us as crafters. This is an FYI.
If SOE wants to call this thread off topic and delete or lock it then thats their call and I'll know better next time. Maybe I am wrong to post this here, I don't know the fine line myself. Note I've recently posted a thread asking them to tell us if ALL server specific stuff is off topic here or not cause honestly I don't know and would like that cleared up for us all so we know what to expect.
When someone else asks a question that is about obtaining loot, I politely direct them to the Items and Loot forum. THat is because I don't know all the answers off hand and there is a wealth of information about loot in that forum. There are plenty of threads over there. I read them myself on and off when I'm looking for information on loot. I do not say "buzz' off noob, wrong forum". I do not answer most loot questions here because I don't know the answers off hand and looking up stuff for people aint' MY responsibility. I do the same kind of thing for other topics that are answered in other forums, like questions about politician stuff I'll point people to the politican forum. I'm trying to show people how to find the answers rather than just give them the answer. Teach them to fish...
Thats how I see it. I'll continue to do what I do as I see fit. If you prefer to do otherwise then you are welcome. /shrug. If you want to report me to the mods then feel free, link is right over there... --->
