hey everyone, im only a craftstation maker, not a full archy...anyways recently i was putting together my 98% DSC, 99% CU, and 94% MSS(with all 99% subs) and my 999CD copper for final combine. now my final combine on the station was 43.3 rating.
Given that i was a patch day station maker from a year back (got them up to 43.89) this confused me so i replaced the MSS 94% with a MSS 86% and lo and behold it was 43.3 rated as well.
Is this a known issue/bug? i apologize if this has been addressed but i didnt see anything on the first 2 pagers here on this.
Please any advice/feedback is appreciated.
Cheers!

I'm not sure if I'm really clear on what the problem is.
Is it that you take a bunch of new parts and a 94% MSS and get 43.3 station and then replace that 94% MSS with an old 86% MSS and still get a 43.3 station?
What was the quality for sub parts in the 86% MSS? An 86% MSS using 100% parts might be comparable to a 94% MSS using 99% parts. The final % on the MSS does not show the real quality of the MSS since the sub component quality is hidden. e.g. a MSS experimented to 90% using 50% parts will be worse than an MSS experimented to 85% using 90% parts.

the subs on the 94% are 99.99, the subs on the 86% are 100.0 the difference is neglible there. the problem is that im getting 43.3 statiions when i use my better MSS or worse.

Ok so the problem is that you're getting 43.3 and expecting higher?
Actually looking at your part %'s, those are pretty close to mine and I also use 999 Cond copper and I'm getting 44.0 right now.
Did you make all the parts yourself?
When were the schematics made?

yes i make it all im actually more of a DE/master artisan but i make these stations as well (since the game began it seems
) anyways the schems were made last week maybe the week before. to do a dummy test i took some 99.9CU's from several months ago and some 98% DSC's also from several months ago and got the same numbers what is pissing me off is when i used the 89%MSS's i made for my space crafting station (and the 98% DSC's, 99% CU's) i got 43.6 so using the same materials and even better MSSs and getting a 43.3 is really confusing me.

Well I'll see if my existing parts still give me 44 or not.
You might try remaking your schematics one at a time to see if that fixes it. Something might be broken with one of them.

This might be a dumb question, but how many points do you have?

I did test my existing parts and got 44.06 on final combine. My parts are 99% for the CU, EGP, ED, 97% for DSC and 94% for MSS and I have 999 cond copper. That all made with current experimentation rules.
So I'm still getting the expected station rating.
