Thread: Someone please explain the pros and cons of factorys to me.
Pros: I haven't lost anything in a factory, and while the crates take about 20 minutes before you can actually pull stuff out of them, it's a nice convenient way to carry more. Can be crafting while you're not logged in.
Cons: May lose resources, factory crates take 20 minutes =), and you only get 10% of the XP you'd get from crafting them by hand.
All that being said, if you want to build large houses or PA halls, you'll have to either have a structure factory, or another Arch friend with one who can run the orders for you. And, you'll either have to be a Master Artisan with an Equipment factory, or know someone who is one.

You are either the luckiest person in the world or full of beans.
You're saying you never lost a single Generator Turbine making Power Core Units? Tell me your secret!
Here is the big SECRET!!!
Put enough resources in the factory to make more than what you want. Then physically sit there and watch as the factory is making them and when you have as many as you need STOP the factory manually.
The only time I have lost one is when I let the factory go and it stopped on its own. You see if you pull the crate out of the output hopper and the resources out of the input hopper before it finishes that last one then there is no way it can fail and take your resources ![]()
