Thread: What would you pay for this?

Architecht Apron (+5 structure experiment, +5 structure assembly)
CA (+5 structure experiment)
CA (+2 structure experiment)
CA (+8 structure experiment)
CA (+4 structure assembly)
Meaning a total of +20 strucutre experiment and +9 structure assembly.
Crafters Aprons seem to go for anything between 500k -1 million as far as I can tell. Clothing Attachments for Experimentation seem to be all over the place right now, I have bought +1s for 20k, but also see them selling in auction at over 100k. As a rule of thumb I would say 100k per point for +1 to +3. Above +3 they are a bit more valuable generally, they take up only 1 socket, so this is an advantage when collecting SEAs for use. The Structure Assembly is not really very beneficial, so has a limited value.
If all the tapes are already on an item of clothing that tends to bring the value down a little as people usually prefer to choose what they want to put them on, however, in this case, if the tapes are all attached to the Apron I don't believe it will adversely affect the overall value, since this has to be worn to get the +5 benefit in the first place.
Now down to the nitty gritty, of course it depends upon your server as you say, but if I were to buy this I would expect to pay around 5 million but at auction I doubt that would secure it, possibly you could get up to 10 million if you were lucky, it all depends upon whether the big buyers have got all they need or not, the thing you are looking for here is a buyer who has none, or very few tapes already but has the credits to spare. I am not sure how many of those guys are left.
Sorry that is such a bits and pieces answer, but I would suggest that if you intend to sell, then put it into an auction, ask for starting bids of at least 3 million, specify bid increases of min 250k, state that there is a reserve (the least you are willing to let it go at), but don't say what that is, set a buyout that is what you could most hope for (15 million ? for example), set a date and time for bids that is not too long, but is long enough to collect enough bids (until Sunday evening is good because you can catch the weekenders). I would also suggest that you only accept bids on the trade forum, otherwise you can run into disputes of who bid what and when. Put in a sniper rule as well, e.g. bids in last 15 mins extend auction by 15 mins from time of that bid. Then sit back and see how it goes. Remember that at auction if it does not reach the reserve you have set you don't have to sell it ![]()
shame you are not on Bria then, I would be interested.
OK it makes a bit of a difference then, bearing in mind that the Apron has +5, and a lot of people have been buying these up, then +5 to exp is quite valuable since anybody who only has an apron so far can instantly get to +10 and thereby get the extra exp point. I would say that on a good day you could maybe get 1 million for the apron and at least that for the +5 exp tape, possibly a fair bit higher. Both the +5 and +8 exp tapes are quite rare, they are available in quantity at +1 & +2, but not too many of the better ones around, the +8 is therefore worth at least 2 million on its own.

Architecht Apron (+5 structure experiment, +5 structure assembly)- 1 million
CA (+5 structure experiment)- 2 million
CA (+2 structure experiment)- 500k
CA (+8 structure experiment)- 8 million
CA (+4 structure assembly)- 250k
Meaning a total of +20 strucutre experiment and +9 structure assembly. All together as a lot it would go for 10-25 million on valcyn
It completely depends on the supply and demand on your server.
One server might have several rich architects competing for tapes. On that server they're likely to fetch a better price because auction bids will go higher with people competing for the tapes.
On another server most of the rich architects might already have all the tapes they need. So you might get fewer folks needing them and therefore less competition and fewer bids on the auctions.
I've seen aprons going for 300-500k and +5-10 tapes going for around 1M.
So I think on my server you might get around 4-5M total.
Harvesting attachments are broken, so... not much. I'd hang on to it for a bit.

I am not sure what would be a fair price to sell it for(though I have an estimated range). I thought that you guys would know best what this item is worth, at least what it is worth to you.
Hey aren't you the guy that posted on the bloodfin forums that you could get a badge by waving to a krayt? That was some funny stuff.
