Thread: My Arch requests
I'm sure some of these things may have been mentioned before, but, well they arent in game so there shouldnt be harm in asking for them again.
1. Furniture Dye Tubs (Ala UO) - Different colors of tubs, craftable at different skill levels in the Experimentation tree line. Make them have a number of uses, and require exotic materials for the best vibrant colors. Application of the dye to a item can be done by anyone, but it would use a "charge" of the tub.
This would create a consumable item that Archs can sell as well as add some variety to furniture.
2. Structure Repair Kits. Ok, so you forgot to pay maintenance on your Harvestor, and now it's at 50%. Instead of just throwing money at it, lets make a tool that can fix it. Make the tool experimentable so there can be varying degree's of functionality/success rates. Let them have a limited number of charges.
This would also create a consumable item that Archs can sell. Not to mention it just makes more sense to repair a buliding witha tool rather than a wad of cash stuffed into the hopper.
3. Fix the 55 Experimentaion/Assemlby thing and make it 100 at master. (Maybe this is the root cause for the higher crit fail rates for final builds)
4. Create more Premium furniture. (Rare stuff is great, there just isnt enoughchoices, and it isnt "rare" enough)
5. More Plants please! =)
6. Make lights work
7. The Live Samples of "Bees" or Glowees, or whatever. This is probably techincally a Artisan thing, but since we have furniture vendors and a Habitat sorta falls into a furniture item I thought I'd bring it up. Umm, this thing is, well... boggling. Is it really supposed to have a 3 second visual effect and then poof? Is it suposed to look like a Locked Container?
8. I'd love some Rugs/Tapestries/Curtains
9. Functional storage items.
10. Fix the premium Armoir.. it looks like the Skill 2 one.
11. An "Elevate" command to raise and lower the vertical position of items.
12. Ballot Box - It gets stuck, and it doesnt work for bank purposes even tho thats a command on the radial. The Ballot choices themselves can be changed by anyone.
13. Tie Decay Rates of Structures/Furniture to the number of times the item has been "Re-deeded" or "Moved" in the case of furniture. Say items can be Re-Deeded 5 times before requiring Repair, or Replacement. (5 is arbitrary, could be anything) Make this "use" limit experimentable. So Master Architects could make a harvestor that could be moved 50 times, where as a Artisan personal harv could only be moved 3 times or something.
14. Allow Experimentation on more items than just the Crafting Station. Hopper Size should not unbalance the game at all.. It just reduces the number of times someone has to check on a hopper. And with resource shifts, this shouldnt be a problem anyhow.
Maintenance rates should be experimentable too. Have a base line that is "the best" achievable by a Master, and all others more expensive than that. (This will increase money sinks which is another problem they seem to have - Not to mention create a Boom for Archs to sell a new Harv that actually has a stat that is better than some other harvestor)
Hmm think thats all for now. thanks!
9. Functional storage items."
Those two belong under the "DUH" category. The devs have too many things to fix and not enough time to fix them. I imagine in a year this game will absolutely rock. If I wasn't afraid of my characters being deleted, I'd cancel my account and come back next year.

Well whats "Duh" for you, may not be for others ![]()
I thought the harvesting mechanism was a "duh". But they had to get told that didnt work too.(Many times)
This is a Arch board, and thats where we would post Arch wishes. Since the art is already in game, maybe it's really simple to do and could be added soon. No harm in re-iterating that it would be nice to have.
