I really like the window overlooking the foyer area in that design. I wish I could get that floorplan on another planet, since I don't want to live in the desert.

I'm wondering, though, whether that room really has the most usable floor space, considering how much of it is taken up by stairs. And do you count the balcony?

Don't get me wrong, it's a huge room, and I can't think of a bigger one right off the top of my head, but I'd love to see some square footage comparisons. :-)

What house, not PA hall, has the largest single room?

I'd have to say, in my humble opinion, that the Large Tatooine House has the largest single room. It's foyer is HUGE!
