What do fusion Generators havest, Radioactives? If that is the case, I assume you should place them on high % radio active deposits?

Has anyway built/used them? Some info would be appreciated.

Yes i have built them and yes they harvest radioactive material for power.

Hey guys,

Can these be placed anywhere with the same output or do you need to survey and place them like a Solar Harv. I didn't see a surver tool for them...Thanks for the info in advance

I believe that you need to place it on top of a radioactive material.

Exactly right. Use a mineral survey tool and find a nice 90+ sweet spot and watch the energy roll in.

How much power can a fusion generator provide per day on a 90+ spot?

I need a way of providing 17k power a day, is that it?

On 90% that would mean: 16848 units a day.

You can run 9 Heavy Harvesters with that.

Finally. Im entering the nuclear age. Just wondering, since Ive never hunted radioactives before, what is a "good" concentration? Are radioactive ore concentrations similar to other energy sources, that is, If its over 50% then its a good spot. Or should I look for greater than 70% spots? Thank you. Now I just wish I didnt spell fusion wrong when I named the deed. LOL.

At 63% you're harvesting more than a solar at 100%; at 80% fusion, running a large harv costs 4unit/cr at 100% mineral concentration (not counting redeed). Finding 80% radioactive doesn't take much effort.

Just thought I'd mention, since you said you'v never looked for radioactives before, do NOT sample for radioactives. A recent patch made it very harmful, causing hundreds of wound damage. On the other hand, if I'm working at a med center feel free to get all the wounds you want and come see me.

I am on tatooine on the corbantis server and am looking to buy a fusion power gen in the next couple of days I was wondering if i can place it anywhere and get max capacity or do i need to put it over a resource (radioactive, water etc) Also i was wondering how many resources go into making a Medium sized chemical , floral and mineral harvester.

thanks,

It needs to be over a good radioactive source to pull power since it pulls radioactive ore.
