What I am doing to make architecting more fun, is interior design. Thats right, I decorate peoples houses. And yes, believe it or not i DO have a waiting list for this service. Nah i dont make the money i do selling harvesters(still throw a few of those together a nite when I have the orders) but its fun and we have most of the tools to do it

Get yourself a trusty droid with a crafting station in it and start advertising. It takes a bit at first, but once you do up a few homes.. well im booked for the next 1.5 weeks

I require that clients get any special mission props they want themselves (such as paintings, bantha statues, etcetc) but i provide the furniture and design ideas if they dont have any of their own

I charge 200-300k for a medium, 400-500k for a large and 600k+ for a PA.. prices can vary due to house much hide or special furniture... Also droids and BE pets that i order specially for their house decor is extra (no this does not include the price of the house itself if they dont already have one)

Experimentation doesn't matter, Houses and harvesters don't decay, furniture can't be changed, we struggle with new architects over prices. Nothing is unique for us, granted our personalities and business ethics can be far apart. What we need is a mission, a quest, and loot that we can use. Quests for unique schematics

For Example: You walk up to jo ( the miner) who gives you several quests and upon completion he gives you the schematic for a "ornate glass bowl".

If the quests changed every month and if you didn't complete the quest within the month you would lose out on the ornate bowl schematic, leaving different architects unique. Perhaps your the only architect on tatooine that can make "oriental rugs". I think unique quests like this would make it really fun to be an architect and would force a lot of us to get out there and see the world.
