As the title suggests what happens if someone decides their city is to go close by the harvs.
I put 8 down on a reasonable deposit of low grade ore I use for wall sections.. no building retrictions (obviously) when I placed them but now it would appear a player wants to declare there city hall close by them. Will I loose them if this happens? The spawn will shift soon anyway so I was hoping to leave them till then as its only a few days(max 3 i reckon).

The only thing that could happen is that the person puts in a property tax. If they do so your maintenance costs will go up by the % of property tax they place. I think the maximum is 20%. So if your harvs cost 20 credits per hour, they will now cost 24.

and beware of getting grief from the mayor .... it has happened before and led to serious arguments/accusations etc.
Are your harvesters staying there on a long term basis ?
If so - best to contact the mayor as soon as possible to let them know that you had picked your spot for a long term mining operation - be polite, as this will obviously be upsetting for the mayor, who may have assumed the installations will go when the spawn disapears.
If it is only temporary because of the spawn, then there should not be any problems :-)

My harvestors were only there for the spawn and this shifted a few hours ago. I did inform the mayor that they would be moved within 24 hours of the resource shifting and the last ones will be moved after I post this as, by luck ( his not mine it would seem), the resource has just shifted.
Problem solved for all concerned I think.
