I don't know if this has been posted before, but I did a search and it came out dry. So here goes my idea. Okay, you guys know the Event Promoters in city hotels, right? Well, I think that we should be able to craft therental deeds - we basically take the job of the Event Promoters. I don't see why they didn't do this in the first place - it would have been an extremely successful addition, in my opinion. Most people don't even know what an Event Promoter is, where they are, or what they sell. Everyone is always fascinated when I whip outa rental deed. lol I mean, theysell stages, fire pits, web-filled trees, treasure chests, flags, arenas, party pavillions, and a ton more. People would flock to us for these things. So, yes.. let me know what you think.

Possibly. I'm not really sure what they would do now since it's already been instituted.

Wow, only one person has an opinion of this? I thought it was a good idea.. But to address the question as to how they would impliment them into the profession, I think it's pretty simple. They make the items craftable and add the schematics into the skill tree. The deeds are a lot of fun but most people don't ever use them. The event promoters are hidden away in hotels, which are basically useless (those jubilee wheels and that other terminal "game" just steal your money and I don't know anyone that understands them really). So I think they should do more to inform people of the items (because they did spend a lot of time and efforts on creatingthem and it would possibly improve the social aspects of the game - which are often lacking.. ), and I think the players (which would be us architects) should benefit from these cool and fun items as well as the people that buy them. As it is, I just send 5k-25k to nowhere - it doesn't get put back into the economy or anything. Doesn't anyone think this would be a neat addition to the profession and the game as a whole?

I recently did an event for my city/guild that I am the mayor of and it took me hours to find the event promoter! Asked a dozen people and they had no idea where to go. Finally someone guided me to it. Its in the Hotel in Theed btw when you enter on the right side. The guy isnt listed on the overhead so it makes it even more difficult to find, and its not one of the people with the blue thing floating over their head so it kinda blends in with other npc's. Would be nice to make some of the items they offer but at the same time, its another one of those credit sinks like the garage and the shuttles although not as bad.

Yes, the Event Promoters can be found in any hotel, I believe. In the same room off to the right of the entrance. This proves my point, though- the items are going to waste, and yetthey're so cool and fun..

Every day I log inand stock up on event items and place them around our city. It still amazes me that lots of people have never heard about them.
Personally I wish that we could use more than 5 at one time. But none the less, they are still cool and fun to mess around with.

I dunno. I think it would be a waste of time and resources, myself. Event items are placed with time limits, which I think is a good idea--we'd have our towns cluttered with this stuff that would never go away. I think for the most part, players who have a need for the stuff know where to get it. You can find event coordinators in every starter city hotel (except for Nym's Hovel on Lok). I just think that if you took this stuff away from the event coordinators and placed it into the hands of crafters, players would really be looking for stuff if one crafter or another doesn't have what the buyer is looking for.
