Hey guys i check up here once and while since i use to love archy.

Well theres a few reasons why i believe they arnt adding content.

1) So few archs now compared to others. You can hardly find a vendor with updated arch items. ( not saying not at all )

2) From the very start people relized Archy would soon run out of buisness ( when player cities hit Arch was rich ).

3) People only need to buy so few houses and harvs b4 they dont need them anymore.

4) What new content could they really add. Furniture ? houses Etc ? . Yeah but while i agree. what about bigger problems. ( there is many ). What about Genereal fixs for ALL professions ( loot problems ) Etc etc.

Whild no profession deserves to go un looked at. I believe archy is a lost profession for the time being. It seems to me as common sense the ONLY and IF ever time they will add new Architect content. IS when the game is stable again and enough content released to entertain players.

Then i believe mabey we can start seeing Furniture that was suppose to be implented. Mabey even better New House's.

I personally am DYINGto see more planets added to the game. Would love more planets mabey that would come in a expansion (since we pay for every added thing to the game which i dont understand cause then y do we pay monthly )

Just my input dont flame plz <3

However...

Mostl new schemes we ask for requires relatively little work. The plants (for example) are already in game; I'd be willing to bet that with a couple days work all the style 2's could be set up with resource requirements and thrown into a datapad.

Yes, there's bigger fish to fry; but when something could be snuck in with little effort...

Furniture colorization is a little different, that would require some serious effort. But I think a large portion of the general populace would be pleased as well.

Why do people pay to play a MMORPG but not want to interact with other people?
Why, SOELA, why? Did the entire management join a cult, and at the same time perform home lobotomies?
It takes less time to look at the stickies than to ask a question and wait for sarcastic replies. So please oh PLEASE ask the same question many times. I enjoy the sarcastic remarks.

In reference to the statement that there are relatively few of us, the Aug 19 Astromech Stats don't support that premise at all. It clearly shows that Architects are the most popular of the elite crafters. Perhaps that's the problem...we haven't had the mass-exodus that some other crafting profs have had, so everything must be tolerable to us

Actually... If i read those stats correctly, Tailor is the most popular of the Elite Crafting professions. Architect is in 2nd place.

That astromech stat list shows the number of people who have skill points in a profession. So if you're a novice architect then you're on the list as an architect. Architect is pretty easy to get into (short / easy grind) so I suspect we get more people. Plus its easier for people who want to go the 'do it yourself' path.

The list of mastery is a lot different. Posted here by GarVA

Theres more shipwrights, weaponsmiths and armorsmiths than us at the mastery level.

Plus I also think it matters how much "noise" a profession makes. Our forum is not as active relatively.

But yes there are a fair number of us so we should get more attention than we do get. I'm pretty sure though that Dvnce has refered to SOE calling us a "niche" profession. So real or not it appears thats their atttitude towards us.

Also I think as a whole, the combat people greatly outnumber the crafters. SO when comparing crafter to crafter you're comparing small to small. Most of the love goes to the combat profeessions, Jedi and then the rest. Thats most of the player base. Then the WS and AS get more love because their crafts feed to the combat folks. If armor is broke then that impacts everyone.

For architect our issues are not seen as game breaking so we don't get any immeditate attention. Then when we get priorities, I assume the combat or combat supporting stuff gets ahead of us everytime. Its probalby jsut a case of furniture coming in last cause eveyrone cares about other stuff more.

It's true we'renow fewer but we're still here and I,ve had an architect from month 3 of the game and never was run out of business because of lack of interest in my products. I still sell for a few millions eachweek. I would be a lot richer if ididn't spend most of my creds onbuying the rewards I can't get by myself in the game.

Yes, they could add any of those things you suggest and I don't know if you realize the amount of units we can sell when a new thing is now on sale. For each new Museum Quest Painting, I sold about 200-250 units of each of them in the first week their appeared. And if you say general profession things must come first, we're still a profession and we deserve same respect as any paying customer. And you should read the forums about the excitment the new ToOW's house is bringing to all except architects.

I agree with the #1 item that we aren't getting attention because there are so few of us. But the more they neglect us the fewer of us there will be.. and the more they'll neglect us so the fewer of us there will be... and the more they neglect... we're in a catch 22 really.

But I disagree on the other points. #2, #3 are just saying we dont' have decay. Thats not a reason for them to not add new content. And for #4, theres tons of new things they could add for us that would be marginal work.

There will always be bigger fish to fry. They can't use that as an excuse to ignore us forever. Or at least they shouldn't. Theres no reason they can't devote 0.1% of their time to us. That would be about 50x increase to what we're getting now.
