Once upon a time there was a guy named fwoierjddfnwdligjaldkjfwe2. Since no one could pronounce his name, everyone called him Joe. Joe was an architect for the Imperial Ground Construction Unit 34. He enjoyed his job as it was his responsibility to find rich deposits of ores and metals so that his company could construct houses, banks, shuttleports, etc

When Joe found a deposit he would place a Heavy Mineral Harvester on that location and turn it on. What Joe didn't know is that the Empire designed the harmonics on the Harvesters so that dangerous furry creatures would come far and wide to nest around it. This bothered Joe since he couldn't use a weapon if you gave it to him anyway.

Joe sent a letter to the Supreme Magistrate of Construction of the Empire about this dangerous situation. Many weeks passed until he heard a reply. Finally he received a form letter which stated, "The Empire is not in the business of your safety." In addition, it noted that , " Joe should send his $14.99 monthly mining permit charge or face banishment."

Alas, Joe went back to his harvesters and was attacked by a furry creature which bit off his leg. On a good note, The Empire is going to approve prosthetic body parts soon.

I hate to ruin Joe's happy ending, but its likely the prosthetics will only be approved to those who can handle themselves in a fight...

At least the emprire still has no shortage of staples, so maybe the furry thing will give return Joe's leg after the novelty has worn off.

Success is not sufficient; others must fail.
