Thread: Help! I can't make schematics!

I cant seem to get the option to make a schematic. I am by my crafting station (37 FR) and I have the ability to make all the furniture etc, but for the life of me it wont let me make a schematic for a structural component. Is this a bug? Its not the first time I couldn't make a schematic.

Seems I can make a schematic at my other house, but not at the one near Theed. Is it a location issue??

Do you have more than one crafting station near each other? Sometimes I think they can conflict.
Or you might try standing right on top of the crafting station that isn't working to make sure you're close enough to it.
You culd pick up the station and then place it again to see if that helps.
Or you could pick up the station that isn't working in the one house and see if it works in the other. Once in a great while a station will get bugged and not work at all.

And when you say that you can't make the schematic, what exactly is it doing? Does it not show up in the tool at all or something else?

I mean I assemble a structure component, confirm it, and it goes right to the "name the object" screen without giving me the option to make it a schematic or experiment.

You're not using a macro are you?
Does it give you the full list of items in your tool? Or is it the same list of items like if you are not at a station at all?

No its the full list, I can make the MA furniture. Its strange, it seems that when I stand in some places in my house I can make schematics for certain objects. Lol that can't be right...

Do you have a neighboring house nearby that might have a station in it?
If someone else has a station close by it could conflict with yours somehow, maybe. /shrug

Well whatever it is I guess I'm gonna have to travel to the mountains to build schematics.

That is too bad. But yes I have heard about the server boundry bugs. Someones house dissapeared one time with all items inside. Poor guy.
