So i'm tinkering away inside my shop looking at all my backpacks getting all my materials (since i'm a master architect i've acquired a good bit in the way of materials) and building some new creations and trying to fulfill an order when i get the message that my structure factory has completed my structure modules. Good so now i run outside to get all my modules out of the factory and get all the materials from inside the factory i then run back inside to find my Backpack full raw material EMPTY!!!!!! this has effectively killed my charachter... I CAN'T DO ANYTHING NOW! IN ONE SICKENING MOMENT ALL MY MATERIALS HAVE VANISHED! my architectural firm has fallen through... i am effectively dead...

**edit** IS UP WITH THIS BUG!!! the only thing i can think of is that i kept the window open in the background when i left the house and it cleared out all my materials...this is sickening...

I've had the same thing happen myself. Usually fixed with a re-log.

I freaked the first time that happened to me .

The look on my face when I opened my backpack and looked at the empty space that was my couple of million credits of minerals, metals and chems must of been priceless. But what wasn't funny was the shaking hands as I clicked on /logout nad then as I logged back in - luckily to find that the resources were back in there rightful place. .

Its a daily occurance now - but if ever I come back in and find the stuff not there, a cancelling the old account I'll be doing (not that SOE would care )

Lol, I got a better one. I bum house space off of a friend and he also put down a structure factory for me. However, he is quitting this month so I went to move my stuff to the bank so I put my backpack of heavy harvesters (20+) in the factory to free up some carry space. Later when I come back the house and factory are gone. I tell a friend who says that he logged on and pulled up most of his structures to prepare for quitting so we run off to the one other house he has but are unable to find any of the stuff. Well about an hour later I make up my own medium house and get ready to run back and place it where his house was (because it's a prime spot) and boom..his house and the factory are back. My friend who I had led on the wild goose chase was ready to kill me

Still the strange thing was that there were other houses around that were there while ours was gone...go figure. Needless to say I dropped a equipment factory of my own to drop my stuff in after that.

happens almost daily to me, just drop the pack, pick it up, and look inside. Or more often the resources vanish while the bag is on the ground, so just pick it up and look inside.

What I have found the problem to be is, this happened to me a LOT until I moved the packs further from each other. If your pack is too close to another pack or storage device, it tends to do this. Once I moved my backpacks away from each other a little bit more, I never had this problem again.

It also seems that placing your packs on different height levels also helps. I had the same problem and when I moved my packs to slant upward with the side ofa staircase the problem stopped. They still overlap, but I haven't had a problem since I moved them.
