I am guessing Structural Assembly reduces your failure rate. Is this all it does or is there something more?

As an artisan in beta, failures didn't happen too often and didn't bother me at all. As a high end Architect do they become more common?

It would be a pain losing all the resources for a large structure, but is this a rare occurence?

I had critical failures on components, but fortunately none on the actual structure assembly. I hope you can't critical fail at that point, but then again, if you can fail at the components, why not fail here? <shrug>.

I would hope not. Has anyone from beta experienced a critical failure on the assembly of the components?

Nope...I always failed on the small pieces. Panels or some small 2 or 3 component parts, never on a bigger item. Hopefully that by design. I would hate to lose a lot of resources due to a failure.

It's very possible to fail on a large combination. There were multiple reports of critical failures on PA halls. Gotta be a big demotivator there..

I failed twice on factorys. One time was the first one I built. It was pretty discouraging.

in beta I had crit failure on 3 walls and then the final assembly of my first medium house.

I was definately not a happy camper!

ps....I didn't even try to make another after that super costly house.
