Ok, I need 33000 GCXP for Novice Architect, I spent the last couple nights surveying and sampling for Inert Petro, Fiberplast, Iron, buying Bone and Hide, harvesting my own, being chased by countless agro mobs all the while, suffering a couple incaps along the way.

When I finally had enough for several bone armors/gloves/legging/helmet, I managed to get them made and most of them sold by yelling out in the crowded part of town. I made some nice credits, but I look at my xp gained, and I had maybe 4000 or so gained from all this.

Sheesh. Yeah I could keep this up, and probably make a good amount of creds, but it will take me quite awhile just to reach Novice Architect. I know it should take awhile, but gathering resources for armors I'm not that interested in making (I want to make structures!) isn't that much fun.

Should I just sit on a metal concentration and grind out wind survey devices for a couple days and save myself the frustration of all the running around?

You should sit on a spot with a good metal and chemical concentration, then grind out the Barrel powerup for about 4 hours.

If you're concentrating solely on grinding, you can make 12k xp an hour if you have the resources.

Actually, if you can either macro sample overnight or have some help, do heavy axes. Requires 21 metal and 20 wood, but gives 89 CXP. Best for quick raising when you have the resources.

I grinded the barrel.. and OmG.. it almost killed me.. heh

but now im novice.. and weee... i get to grind something else.. sigh =)

Hehe, I have more structure exp then I do general crafting because I've been making deeds for friends or others who've asked like mad. And on top of that all the people wanting bone armor lately have been hitting me up as well. So much to do, so little time.
