Seriously, I'm finaly made it to eng IV, and well I need to get 33,000 Exp to get novice architect. If I continue making my Structure Crafting Kits I will end up using 11,300 steel/alum/cop and about 5000 chemicle. Is there a better way to get to Novice Architect, anybody suggest food at all?s

I mostly made and sold bone armor to get there. Got tons of credits, and it's a lot less clicking to boot. Of course, I had a couple of scout friends who supplied me with most of the bone/hide needed.

Well I believe the ratio is 2 xp for every resource used. So A power-Up uses 20 resources I think and gives you 40xp for the trouble after which I destroyed them. I made so many power-ups it wasn't even funny. Crafting stations are better xp. Bone Armor (Especially Chest Plates) give you a lot of XP but boy you need a ton of hide and bone. I bought most of it off bazzar and/or advertised in the streets I was buying it. At least you could sell the Armor. Hope that helps.

I did it with crafting tools. Now that metals are much harder to come by in quantity (Arts seem to be hordingit after the recent patch) the large chemical component of crafting tools will actually be a good thing if you are buying materials. You should get 65+ xp per unit. Very decent.

If it still holds true... don't know I haven't tried since patch, Muzzle power-ups. 10 resources per Item, 40xp per successfull attempt. 4:1 ratio, cannot be beat by anything on that skill lvl. Make em and toss em. I would, however concern myself with getting a couple of harvesters running for you. Then spend a whole day on missions so you can supply them with enough maintenance money to keep them running.
You won't be able to make muzzles at the same rate players used to without harvesters
Good Luck and Keep Diggin'!
