So, if there were a way to salvage 90% of the minerals from a player crafted item, then that would help sustain and equalize prices on items vs resource content. No more deflated architect buildings because a large PA is power leveling their architect and dumping houses and factories on the market for less then mineral costs.

IMO:
90% from salvage? That'd never pass. a 10% loss is a pittance in the bucket, and I could craft my butt off without using nearly the amount of hussle I've been doing, and dev's like to see you spend tiime.. its all about time... if anything for balance salavage would be a hovering around 20% +/-10%
I'd like to see a salvage idea come into play regardless, its a shame we have no recycling opportunity at all.

I'd be happy with 25% or so salvage on failed items... Or at least end up with a "Damaged" deed or item that you could sell to a junk dealer... I gota failure on a small house and a factory in the past week and all the experimented components are lost... Very sad...That's not realistic, but I could live with it better if we had salvage in place.
